Ages for classes are decided on birth-date age as of August 2018 of the new dance year or teacher recommendation.
30 or 45 min. class for students 4 and up. This class teaches the basics of floor tumbling including forward and
backward rolls, back bends, cartwheels and fundamental acrobatic strengthening and coordination skills. Older students will incorporate Acro Dance moves and progressions. (Younger dancers are encouraged to take a Combo Class).
Ballet is a class that varies from 30 min. to two hours and is offered for students 4 and up. This class is divided into appropriate levels and students are placed by skill level. See page 6 for details on Ballet levels. (Younger students are encouraged to take a Combo Class)
Baby Lets Dance I and II
30 min. class and is for 2.5-3 year olds and 3-4yr olds. Students will explore the beginning stages of Ballet and creative movement all while using props, games and fun music.
Combo Level I-V
45 min. class for students 6-7 years old. This class teaches the fundamentals of tap, jazz, tumbling, hip hop and ballet. Students
should arrive in class with their ballet shoes on first. Teachers will assist students with shoe changes. We highly suggest combo classes!
Combo I: 45 minute class Ballet/Tap ages 6-7 years old
Combo II: 45 minute class Ballet/Jazz ages 6-7 years old
Combo III: 45 minute class Ballet/Tumbling ages 6-7 years old
Combo IV: 45 minute class Tap/Jazz ages 6-7 years old
Combo V: 45 minute class Ballet/Hip Hop ages 6-7 years old

Dance and Play
30 min. class for walkers -age 3. This is a parent free class that lets students explore movement and creativity. Special props,
obstacle courses and music will be used to help create an imaginative atmosphere. Students will be introduced to simple dance steps. This class will not participate in Recital.
Everybody Dance Now
A program designed for students with Special Needs. This 45 min. class will include 35-40 minutes of warm up, stretching,
opening song and across the floor technique in jazz to help promote gross motor skills development. The dance routine will help to promote creative expression and encourage exercise. Dancers will also spend 5-10 minutes of socialization time with students, parents, instructors and peer buddies.
30 min. class offered to students 6 to 18 years old. Hip Hop is an upbeat style of dance performed to popular music. Although Hip Hop's roots came from urban street dancing, it has become increasingly popular in the entertainment world. Music and dance moves are age appropriate.
Jazz 30 min. or 45 min. class offered to student's age 4 and up. Jazz is a style of dance that is structured in technique while taking many shapes and forms. It can be performed to a vast variety of music from Broadway to pop. (Younger dancers are encouraged to take a combo class)
Kinder Dance 45 min. class for students 4-5yrs old. This class teaches the fundamentals of tap, jazz, tumbling, hip hop and ballet. Students should arrive in class with their ballet shoes on first.
Kinder Dance I: 45 minutes Ballet/Tap ages 4-5yrs old
Kinder Dance II: 45 minutes Ballet /Jazz ages 4-5yrs old
Kinder Dance III: 45 minutes Ballet/Tumbling ages 4-5 yrs old
Kinder Dance IV: 45 minutes Tap/Jazz ages 4-5 yrs old

Lyrical is a 30 min. class for students 8 and up. Lyrical dance is a fusion of ballet & jazz dance techniques that uses dramatic motion to interpret music and express emotion. Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, and lyrical and ballet. It is best to take this class with at least two years knowledge of Jazz and Ballet technique.
Mommy and Me: A perfect 30 minute class for moms and their little tiny dancers. Each class, little ones will discover the excitement of dance and share a special time with their mom, dad or guardian. We will stretch, play games, interact with others, sing, use props and build motor skills while being introduced to basic dance concepts and movement. This class will not participate in the Recital. Age walkers to 2.5 yrs old.
Pointe/Pre-Pointe is a 30 min. class wherein the ballet dancer supports all their body weight on the tips of fully extended feet. Dancing en pointe makes the dancer appear weightless; this is done by wearing special box toed shoes. Students are recommended for pointe based on age and ability. A minimum of two regular ballet classes must be attended to dance en pointe, one of which must be ballet class directly before pre-pointe or pointe. Must be teacher recommended to enroll in these classes.
Tap 30 min. class that is offered for students age 4-18 years of age. This is a percussive style of dancing. Its name comes from the tapping sound made when the metal plates on the dancer's shoes touches a hard surface. (Younger students are encourage to take a combination class)
